We are excited to announce the launch of the Florida Association of School Safety Specialists. Our aim is to provide unwavering support to the dedicated men and women serving as School Safety Specialists across all 67 public school districts in Florida. Through our collective efforts, we hope to create a safer and more secure learning environment for students, teachers, and staff.
Our Association is committed to providing valuable resources, training, and networking opportunities to our members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. We look forward to working together to enhance school safety throughout the state of Florida.
2024 Florida School Safety Summit
Following the success of the inaugural summit in June 2023, FS3 is once again bringing together School Safety Specialists and Mental Health Coordinators from each of the 67 Florida K-12 Public School Districts. The 2024 School Safety Summit will take place June 10-12, 2024 in Orlando, Florida.
Annual sponsorship opportunities are now available for the calendar year as well as exhibitor spots for the 2024 School Safety Summit. This is a unique opportunity for vendors to showcase their commitment to school safety and connect with key decision-makers in Florida. First Annual School Safety Summit
The Florida Association of School Safety Specialists (FS3) held its first annual Florida School Safety Summit in June of 2023. This conference focused on the importance Florida places on keeping ALL schools safe.
The event's theme of "Partnerships in School Security and Mental Health” emphasized the importance of school safety professionals working alongside their mental health professional counterparts.
The summit featured an expo hall including school safety exhibitors and various service providers who provided information about products and services that may benefit districts in their many security and mental health initiatives.
